10 / IT support
An IT person for your company, without the full-time hire
I take care of your company's computers, network, printers and accounts — from everyday staff problems to getting a new hire's workstation ready.
In a small company, IT usually “more or less works”, right up to the day it doesn't. The bookkeeper's computer won't start after an update, the shop's network goes down and sales stop with it, and work waits because there's nobody to ask. Problems like these don't require an IT department. They require one person who knows your company and picks up the phone.
I act as the standing IT person for companies in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area: offices, shops and service businesses that don't employ their own specialist. I get to know your infrastructure, document it and look after it day to day — remotely when a few minutes at the screen is enough, on site when someone actually needs to stand next to the hardware. Rather than fight fires, I prefer to make sure they don't start.
One thing sets me apart from a typical IT support provider: I'm a software engineer by trade, with experience gained in projects connected with organizations such as PwC, Roche and E.ON. Where others stop at fixing the printer, I notice the processes worth automating — data retyped by hand, reports stitched together in spreadsheets, systems that don't exchange information. The same person who configures your computers can write the tool that saves your team hours of work.
What the service covers
Ongoing care and emergency help
Day-to-day help for your team and a fast response when something stops working: remote first, and on site in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area when the problem calls for it. Regular check-ups instead of waiting for a breakdown.
- Remote and phone support for staff
- Maintenance visits and preventive check-ups
- Emergency assistance when work grinds to a halt
- Support for offices and retail locations
Workstations and hardware
Computers ready for work from day one: a prepared workstation for every new hire, access cleanly revoked when someone leaves, and hardware chosen or replaced without paying for specs nobody will use.
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Operating system and software installation
- Purchase recommendations and hardware replacement
- Inventory of hardware, licences and access
Company network and internet
A stable network in the office and at the till: router and Wi-Fi configuration, tidy cabling and devices, a guest network kept separate from the company one, and printers visible to exactly the people who need them.
Accounts, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Order in your company's accounts and data: mailbox and user account configuration, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace rollout and ongoing support, data migrations between services, and backups that can actually be restored.
Automation and improvements
The part a typical IT support provider doesn't offer: as a developer I can automate repetitive chores, connect systems that don't talk to each other, and build small tools shaped around how your company actually works.
Typical situations
- 01
Every computer problem ends with a call to “a friend who knows computers”, followed by waiting until he has time.
- 02
A new employee starts on Monday and nobody has prepared a computer, an account or access for them.
- 03
The office Wi-Fi keeps dropping, the printer works “sometimes”, and nobody still with the company knows the router password.
- 04
Nobody is quite sure whether backups are actually running, and you'll only find out the day something goes missing.
What you can count on
One standing contact for everything IT: a person who knows your hardware, network and accounts, instead of a different technician every time.
Documented infrastructure: an inventory of hardware, licences, accounts and access, so the company doesn't depend on anyone's memory.
Fewer breakdowns thanks to prevention: updates, backups and check-ups done on schedule, not after the damage.
Ground rules agreed up front: the scope of care, how problems are reported and response times, all set out in the agreement.

Questions about this service
Yes — that's my typical client: an office, shop or service business with a handful of workstations and nobody formally in charge of IT. I take that whole area over, and you get back to running the company.
Both work. An ongoing agreement delivers the most value, because it lets me prevent problems and shortens every intervention — I already know your hardware and configuration, so nothing starts from zero. One-off jobs often turn out to be the beginning: I fix the immediate problem, then we talk about ongoing care.
Most problems get solved remotely, often during the first call. When a visit is needed, I come on site in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area; companies elsewhere in Poland I support remotely, since most day-to-day issues don't require a visit at all. For companies on an ongoing agreement, response times are written into the contract, so you know where you stand before anything happens.
First, you always talk to the same person who knows your company, not a call queue. Second, I'm a software engineer, so beyond fixing and configuring I can automate and integrate your systems. IT support often becomes the starting point for improvements a standard provider wouldn't even suggest.
